I have a 4oin full HDTV and morose ray player at my home and currently use a 5.1 Sony home theater system for envelop sound from 2004. I would like to update to and separated receiver/ amplifier 7.1 system and i have some ideas as for where to start

a lot has to do with the assay of your room how close you sit to the speakers how many accommodation positions you have; placement options; familiar preferance and how much money you want to dissipate but just generally speaking take a look at receivers
