I am worrisome to find a good christmas gift for my BF, its either sneakers or a desktop wifi card. He in actuality needs internet to type records for college but he can't afford internet and he dosn't have a legislature phone so dial-up is no go. so

yeah it works. you shuold get the USB one as a substitute for of the card because the USB one is portable. I recommend the Linksys card or USb. It is the kindest quality product out.
