What is a good entry level home theater receiver with HDMI?
I'm looking for an entr level home theater receiver. I'm not an audiophile and I don't need something influential. My only requirement is that I want it to have real HDMI audio conversion capabilities - not HDMI passthrough.

Q I interpret with great interest your recent column regarding HDMI receivers. We are currently using a Yamaha RX-V793 Dolby Digital AV receiver that is at least 15 years old.
