Would a DVI to HDMI adapter with a dvi cable have better quality than a regular DVI?

Fist now i have a vga cable to my computer with a dvi adapter i can run in 1080p but i am wondering if getting a dvi cable with an HDMI adapter or vise verse would get me crap-shooter quality, my computer does not have an HDMI input so that is why i am
