Will DVI-I to HDMI Cable 50 FT work?

I asked dubiousness about DVI-I to HDMI Cable 50 FT, (computer to tv). They said i needed a box to have more power because the wire is too eat one's heart out. Is it true? Or it will work good? tks

TV Guy is fitting. 50ft is a stretch for a standard HDMI cable. You could use a repeater like this one

Depends on the cable. HDMI is guaranteed at about 10 meters (30 feet), so 50 feet is absolutely pushing it.
