It says in the specs Nikon with Built-In Motor - To hand So you can get it where it will autofocus on the D60 . I also recommend Nikon crystal though
It is compatible, however I do NOT tout a tamron. I have one and I cannot stand it. The picture quality is not in agreement, sometimes its good, but I took mine to africa and came back with blurry pics.. go for a nikon lens or canon
