I have a digital resistance fighter xti and I'm looking into buying a lense that can do macro, have zoom power, and replica stab.

I like to take pictures of Lilliputian things and moving things.

If it has a canon mount, it will travail for your camera. You may want to consider the Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM lens, it falls into your cost out range, and the glass is fantastic.

As for lenses with a series from 28-300 you lose something
