How can I adapt my Tamron lens to fit a Canon camera?

I second-hand to use a Minolta Maxxum 5 (steam) camera, and I had a Tamron 80-210mm lens to go with it. However, I am in the process of purchasing a Canon Digital Insurrrectionist XT. I understand that you can buy an adapter, but how?

Yes, you can in all likelihood get something for that. There are a couple of nikon/canon/milnolta/etc lens to nikon/canon/minolta/etc committee adapters out in the market. They don't seem to be very cheap though.
