What the best video software editing for Panasonic HD camcorder?

The media is Alcoholic drive.
The format is AVCHD.
Could the adobe Debut be the best ?
Is the AVCHD from Panasonic & Sony completely the same ?
If not, can I still use editing software from Sony for Panasonic AVCHD file

I always use sony vegas to reduce AVCHD video, it works euphonious well for me, you may google search for it.
