what is the standard way to update the firmware of a HDD media player?

I have an "Ider I6-II encryption 2.5"HDD PLAYER" and i covet to update to the latest firmware.

I have a twin of the latest firmware sent by the fabricator but i don't know how to install it onto the device. Can anybody staff?

Reat their vade-mecum.

I can only think of two ways.

First is with an installer app. It will exactly connect to the media chipset and flash the firmware.

The other is by putting the dossier in a particular location,
